Digital Radiography

Unlike traditional computed radiography (CR) where there is a waiting period while the film is processed, with DR the image is converted to digital data in real-time and is available for review within seconds. In addition to time efficiency, other advantages include the ability to digitally transfer and enhance images along with less radiation used to produce an image of similar contrast.
